GoCo Health Innovation City is designed and developed to accelerate health innovation and to enable that, health needs to be looked at from different perspectives.
In addition to gathering actors from research, business and the academy, the focus is equally on creating a healthy environment where sustainable choices are built into the core. Climate-smart traveling is one part, and to simplify and promote sustainable transportation, GoCo has entered a collaboration with the mobility service provider EC2B.
- Through EC2B we can offer our tenants a more sustainable alternative to traveling. Flexible and straight forward solutions making it possible to adapt travel, day by day, is necessary in order to limit climate change. With these mobility services we simplify freedom to choose the mode of travel as needed while we contribute to the overall sustainability goals for GoCo and support our tenants, says Viktor Bakker sustainability manager at GoCo.
The services are easily accessed via the EC2B app, which provides a quick overview of which transport options that are available. At GoCo, several options of electric cars and e-bikes will be available, as well as an integration with Västtrafik, which recently announced that they are expanding public transport to the emerging district.

EC2B will be introduced from March and will be scaled up as more tenants and people settles in the area.
