GoCo Health Innovation City continues to grow, together with new tenants and partners. When Swedish life science company OnDosis takes the step from BioVentureHub to GoCo House, it has its sights set on the global market - and to revolutionize the way patients take their medicines.
Founded in 2017, OnDosis has developed a proprietary platform enabling a new way of dosing and individualising the administration of medicines. Through a connected hand-held device, integrating medicines with intelligent dosing, the technology ensures that each individual patient receive precisely the medicine they need. The innovation behind the product addresses the need linked to today's use of drugs in pill and capsule form and both revolutionises and simplifies the way medicines are taken.
- Our product combines the best of traditional drug treatment, medical technology and digital health. In order to grow and achieve our ambitions, it is absolutely necessary to create collaborations and acquire competence in all these life science sectors. OnDosis started as a spin-off to AstraZeneca and has been a part of the innovation hub BioVentureHub - a breeding ground for small and medium-sized companies in life science. The move to GoCo House after the turn of the year, does not only mean a new and valuable business for the district, says Jonas Obert, business developer at GoCo Health Innovation City, but this has always been the fundamental idea with GoCo Health Innovation City - to further develop and expand the already existing ecosystem for life science in Mölndal.
