An additional 110,000 square meters of construction area is planned to be filled with innovative initiatives and new health-promoting initiatives. The total investment amounts to 6 billion SEK - an investment that will pave the way for new world-leading solutions to health challenges, an international hub for life science and approximately 8,000 new jobs.

OligoNova and the research on oligonucleotides will be connected to the Wallenberg centrum for molecular and translational medicine at the University of Gothenburg and be a part of the national infrastructure for life science, SciLifeLab (Science for Life Laboratory). Initially, the initiative will be physically located at AstraZeneca, in the heart of GoCo Health Innovation City.
